Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your language and theme. These always work.

If analytics or similar tools (for example Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity) are switched on, they load only after you press Accept on the cookie notice. If you press Decline, they are not loaded. You can change your choice by clearing the ct_consent cookie in your browser.

Marketing emails or WhatsApp messages are sent only if you ticked the optional marketing box, and you can switch it off any time in your profile.

What we collect

Account details you give us: name, email address, mobile number, password (stored only as a salted hash), preferred language, and the login method you use (email or Google). Optional profile details you choose to add (city, state, age group, occupation, trading experience, capital range, broker, interests and how you found us), which we use to improve the Service and, only if you agree, to send you updates and offers.

Payment details you submit: plan, UTR and optional screenshot. We never see or store your card, bank or UPI PIN.

Referral claim details: broker, client ID, the mobile number and email ID used to open your demat account, and two dates.

What you create: watchlists, alerts, journal entries, saved scanners and paper-trading records.

Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages used, kept in server logs for security and to improve the Service. We use a few essential cookies for login, language and theme.

Broker and Google sign-in

If you sign in with a broker, we receive only your name, email and a broker user ID to identify you. We do not ask for or store your broker password, access portfolio, holdings or orders, and we cannot place trades. Google sign-in gives us your name, email and Google ID.

How we use it

To run your account and plan, verify payments and referral claims, send alerts you ask for, send service emails (verification, password reset, receipts), keep the Service secure, answer support requests and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

Only with service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, email delivery, Telegram if you connect it), with the partner broker for verifying a referral claim you submit, and with authorities when the law requires it.

Advertising

Trial users may see ads. Ad providers may use cookies under their own policies. Paid users do not see ads.

Storage and security

Data is stored on a server in a secured hosting environment. We use HTTPS, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to support@candletrade.in. Deleting your account removes your profile, watchlists, journal and alerts; some payment records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law.

Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18.
